The Contour is manufactured as a fully welded, one-piece aluminum canopy. It does not arrive as a collection of structural panels that must first be assembled into a canopy.
The roof, body structure, door openings and major structural components are already built into a complete unit before it reaches Cap-it or your truck.

Large gullwing doors open the sides of the canopy, putting equipment throughout the truck bed within easy reach. Tools, groceries, luggage, recovery equipment, storage boxes and camping gear can all be accessed from the side instead of forcing you to climb through the tailgate.
On this version, each side door incorporates a sliding glass window. Open the windows when you want airflow, keep them closed when weather protection matters, and lift the complete gullwing when you want unrestricted cargo access.

Aluminum construction keeps canopy weight relatively low while the rigid roof structure and integrated rails provide the foundation for serious gear-carrying capability.

BUILT FOR REAL TRAVEL
Weather Protection Is More Than a Rubber Strip.
Alu-Cab builds multiple layers of weather and dust management into the Contour. A double door-seal system helps protect the cargo area from weather and debris, while centre-flex waterproof hinges are designed to reduce water dripping through the hinge area when the doors are raised in wet conditions.
At the front of the canopy, a positive-pressure air vent is designed to help reduce dust ingress while travelling on gravel roads and dusty trails.
A Note About Pickup-Bed Sealing
The canopy is only one part of the complete enclosure. Factory tailgates, bed seams and other truck-body openings may still allow water or dust into the pickup bed. Cap-it can assess your truck during installation and recommend additional bed or tailgate sealing where appropriate.
