Refund Policy
Returns
You can return unopened items in the original packaging within 30 days of
purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 30 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.
All returns must be approved by Cap-it prior to being shipped back.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale, promotional, special or custom orders and clearance items are non-refundable.

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Special order or custom order products
- Used, installed or damaged products
- Product not in original condition and original packaging
- Clearance or final sale items
- Promotional or discounted items marked as non-refundable
Exchanges
We only exchange goods if they are defective or damaged upon receipt. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at shop@capit.com or 604-626-4100 with details of the product and the defect before returning the item.

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are eligible, we will send you a replacement product.
Refunds are not provided for approved exchanges unless a replacement is unavailable.
Exceptions
Some items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These include: Sale items, promotional items, special or custom orders, returned items, used, clearance and damaged items.

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
For large or bulky items shipped via freight, any prepaid or subsidized outbound shipping costs may be deducted from the refund upon return approval. Returned items must be unopened, uninstalled, and received in original manufacturer packaging.
Delivered Orders & Non-Receipt Claims
Orders marked as delivered by the carrier, including confirmation via tracking scan, GPS data, photo evidence, or signature record, are not eligible for return or refund under this Refund Policy.
Claims relating to non-receipt of delivered orders are handled under our Shipping Policy and carrier investigation process. Where applicable, a replacement shipment may be arranged in accordance with that policy.
