Pair your FlushFit with compatible rack systems and accessories to carry bikes, paddleboards, roof racks or adventure gear while keeping your truck bed covered. The TruXedo Elevate Rack System can attach to compatible T-slot rails without a separate tonneau-to-rack adapter. Other rack systems, such as the Küat IBEX or truck bed racks, may need manufacturer-specific adapters. Crossbars, racks, tents and adaptors are sold separately. Important application and installation notes
- Chevrolet / GMC: no fitment with factory bedside storage boxes. Silverado/Sierra 1500 short-bed part ERC40CH15A0 also excludes the CarbonPro bed. MultiPro/MultiFlex tailgates are compatible on the specified applications, but a factory tailgate step handle may need removal.
- Ram 1500: the standard-bed applications ERC40RAM15A0 and ERC40RAM17A0 do not fit a multifunction/split tailgate. The RamBox application ERC40RAM15BA0 works with or without the multifunction tailgate but requires the silver cargo rails, not the black track rail system.
- Toyota: 2024+ Tacoma and 2022+ Tundra installations require removal of factory deck rails. Select Tundra fitments do not work with Trail Special Edition bed storage boxes.
- Ford: F-150 part ERC40FO25A0 covers the manufacturer-listed 2021+ F-150 / Raptor and 2022+ F-150 Lightning 5'7" bed. Verify the exact truck generation before choosing a cover.
Installation, warranty and support
RealTruck rates installation as moderate and estimates about two hours for the vehicle-specific fitment. The cover uses purpose-built mounting hardware, with electrical wiring required. Refer to the correct vehicle-specific installation and wiring instructions before installation. Professional installation is available through participating Cap-it locations and is quoted separately.
Warranty: 5-year limited manufacturer's warranty for the original purchaser against defects in materials or workmanship. Terms and exclusions apply, including exclusions for installation labour and losses from water damage or theft.
Frequently asked questions
Does FlushFit come with a rack or crossbars?
No. Built-in T-slot rails make the cover rack-ready, but rack systems, crossbars and accessories are sold separately.
Will it work with my factory tailgate and bed rails?
It depends on the truck. The application table identifies important GM, Ram and Toyota restrictions. If your truck has a special tailgate, RamBox, factory deck rails or other cargo-management equipment, ask a Cap-it location to verify fitment first.
Can I open the tonneau cover part-way?
Yes. Electric operation and the integrated stop sensor give you flexibility to open the cover for longer or taller cargo.
Is the cover waterproof?
No tonneau cover is entirely waterproof. FlushFit's four-point drainage system helps direct water away from the bed, but some water or dust may enter in extreme conditions.
What is the difference between ERC-4000 and MRC-3000?
The ERC-4000 is the electric FlushFit model with dual motors and push-button operation. The MRC-3000 is the manual FlushFit model. Both use a low-profile retractable design, but they are not the same product.
