The Planar Portable 2D is more than a diesel heater placed inside a box. The portable heating system is designed, built and assembled in Langley, British Columbia, bringing the heater, fuel system, intake, exhaust, controller and hot-air delivery together in one purpose-built package.
Protecting the system is a rugged Canadian-made NANUK case. Behind it is Canadian parts availability, technical knowledge and service support, exactly what you want when your heater is part of your cold-weather camping system.

The Planar 2D delivers dry, diesel-fired heat without requiring a permanent heater installation. Add diesel or kerosene, connect a suitable 12V power source, position the heater safely outside your occupied space and route the heated-air duct where you need warmth.

With output from approximately 0.8 to 2.0 kW, the Planar 2D is particularly well suited to compact sleeping spaces and heater-ready rooftop tents.

Use Your Planar Heater Safely
The heater and combustion exhaust must remain outside the occupied sleeping or living space. Route only the heated-air duct into the shelter. Always follow Planar operating instructions, maintain required clearances and ventilation, and use a carbon monoxide detector when operating combustion heating equipment around an occupied shelter.
