The SmartCap EVOh Hatchback is the newest way to get SmartCap strength at a simpler, more streamlined price point. It is a fully modular, automotive-grade stainless steel truck cap built for owners who do not need side cargo access, but still want a canopy that is tough, secure, and ready for real-world abuse.

With solid stainless steel sides (no gullwing doors), solid glass up front, and a glass rear hatch door, the EVOh delivers a clean, rugged setup that protects your cargo and keeps your truck looking sharp.

SmartCap is manufactured from strong automotive-grade stainless steel and engineered to handle punishment without cracking, flexing, or fading.

Glass Front Window and Rear Hatch Door

The front and rear are finished with solid glass for visibility, light, and a clean, finished look. The rear hatch door gives you full access to the bed from the back, without side openings.

Weatherproof in Real Conditions

Rain, snow, wind, dust, freezing temperatures. SmartCap’s sealing system, when properly installed, helps keep the elements out and your gear protected.

Keep The Dust Out

The Positive Pressure Air Vent filters fresh air into the cap at a greater velocity than the enclosed bed is capable of drawing it back in. This helps keep road dust outside where it belongs, rather than all over your gear.

Removable in Under 15 Minutes

Need to haul taller loads? The modular clamp system allows the SmartCap to come off or go on in about 15 minutes, giving you the flexibility to run open-bed when the job calls for it.

Important Vehicle Fitment Notes

2022+ Toyota Tundra Bed Stiffeners / J-Braces Required

The 2022+ Toyota Tundra requires Bed Stiffeners/J-Braces to be installed for all bed rail mounted accessories. Failure to install these may affect the structural integrity of the Tundra’s bed walls. This not only may damage your truck bed, but may also lead to SmartCap Rear Flange welding failures and other critical damage.

Please note, damage to your SmartCap that is directly attributable to not having Bed Stiffeners/J-Braces installed will not be covered under the SmartCap 3-Year warranty. SmartCap does not offer Bed Stiffeners, but an internet search will show multiple available options.
