Built specifically for the INEOS Grenadier, the Alu-Cab Silenus replaces the conventional roof with an integrated pop-top sleeping system that creates a two-person bed above and standing room below. The result is a Grenadier that remains a serious 4x4 on the road and becomes a self-contained camp when the roof opens.
THE SILENUS DIFFERENCE
More Than a Rooftop Tent.
A conventional rooftop tent sits above the vehicle. Silenus becomes part of the Grenadier. The sleeping area is connected directly to the cabin, so there is no exterior ladder and no separation between the vehicle and the camper.
Raise the roof and the Grenadier gains vertical living space. Lower the bed and the upper section becomes a dedicated sleeping platform for two. When it is time to move, the entire system closes back into the vehicle's roofline.

With the sleeping platform raised, Silenus creates usable standing space inside the Grenadier. That changes the vehicle from a place you simply sit in into a space where you can change clothes, organize gear and live more comfortably at camp.
A smaller rear bed section is designed to preserve interior access without unnecessarily disturbing the main sleeping area, helping the vehicle and bed work together as one system.
SLEEP ABOVE
A Long Bed Built Into the Grenadier.
The Silenus sleeping platform measures 2588 × 1180 mm (approximately 8 ft 5 7/8 in × 3 ft 10 7/16 in) with a 72 mm / 2 13/16 in mattress.
Alu-Cab specifically designs Silenus so suitable bedding can remain inside when the roof is closed, reducing setup and pack-down time every day on the road.

400 gsm Canvas
UV-resistant, rip-block, double-layer waterproof canvas with sealed seams surrounds the sleeping space.
Insulated Roof
Polyethylene closed-cell foam insulation is combined with an automotive-style interior finish.
Integrated Lighting
Silenus includes one roof LED and two interior LEDs for practical illumination at camp.
Integrated Power
Two USB ports, two USB-C ports and dedicated kill switches provide convenient charging without unnecessary standby drain.
BUILT TO CARRY
The Roof Still Works for You.
Silenus includes integrated cargo rails for compatible load bars, MOLLE mounting areas, double nut slots for accessories and integrated Anderson plugs for solar connectivity.
The current published roof-load rating is 50 kg / 110 lb, allowing compatible equipment to remain part of the vehicle's travel system.
ON THE MOVE

Closed, Silenus follows the Grenadier's shape far more closely than a conventional rooftop tent. The tapered aluminium structure becomes part of the vehicle rather than another layer mounted above it.
A continuous perimeter rubber seal between the lid and base helps protect the closed conversion from weather while travelling.

The Grenadier was designed to travel beyond pavement. Silenus adds the ability to live from it when the drive is over, without separating the sleeping system from the rest of the build.

With sleeping moved above, the rear of the Grenadier remains available for storage, cooking systems, equipment and the rest of the build.
