Still assessing:

Thanks for reaching out for feedback on this purchase. Certainly not flawless and literally has not found its landing place as I continue to research the installation.

The kit came with no instructions and while I was pointed to a generic video, which covers some important steps, I still do not know where to locate the 2 starting holes on my Tundra Double Cab. Can you provide the distance from the black weather strips? And should the starter holes be …on the front or back?

In reading a Tundra forum, it appears that turning plus nuts has been an issue and you helped solve this concern by recommending a plus nut installation tool, which has just arrived from Amazon. Any other tips would be useful, particularly what the thickness of metal I can expect in each of the holes so as to properly adjust drill stops. I understand that the front is thicker?

Finally if still not at ease with proceeding, can I return the rack and if so what is your return policy? I’ve shopped around Moncton and can’t find any shop that will install it for me except Canadian Tire, who I will not use.

Regards,
Denis Fitzpatrick
