The Prinsu Roof Rack for the 2022+ Nissan Frontier transforms the roof of your 3rd Generation Frontier into a low-profile, modular platform for rooftop tents, recovery gear, bikes, kayaks, skis, cargo, lighting and other adventure equipment.
Both rack systems are designed specifically for the current-generation Frontier and use modular aluminium crossbars that let you configure the platform around the gear you actually carry.

Both Frontier racks give you the low-profile, modular Prinsu platform. The difference is how far you need the rack itself to go.
The Prinsu Original uses aluminium construction, custom crossbars with built-in drop points, wind-reducing trim and a configurable crossbar layout. Prinsu publishes a Frontier-specific rack rating of 400 lb dynamic and 800 lb static.
Prinsu Pro builds on that concept with stronger redesigned crossbars, six integrated drop-in points per crossbar, reinforced two-part side rails, stainless-steel hardware, recessed mounting feet and substantially higher published rack capacity.

You Don't Automatically Need the Pro.
If your Frontier primarily carries bikes, skis, kayaks, cargo boxes, camping equipment or other normal recreational loads, the Original gives you the core Prinsu advantages without paying for capability you may never use.
Move to Prinsu Pro when the roof rack becomes a more significant part of the build, particularly with a rooftop tent, heavier equipment, extensive accessory mounting or when the stronger crossbars, reinforced rails and higher published capacity have genuine value to you.

This Is One Frontier Rack Worth Having Installed Properly.
Both Prinsu Pro and Prinsu Original Frontier roof racks require drilling into the vehicle roof as part of the installation. The mounting procedure includes accurately locating and drilling the roof, installing plus-nuts / nutserts, applying sealant and assembling and aligning the rack.
Prinsu specifically warns installers to work carefully around factory airbags and wiring. On the Original rack, Prinsu also notes that rear mounting hardware may conflict with the airbag mounting bracket on some vehicles and recommends accessing the rear headliner during installation.
