How does the Joolca GottaGo separate waste?
The bowl has separate openings for liquid and solid waste. Liquid drains into its own removable container while solids enter the rear cassette, keeping the two waste streams separate automatically during normal use.
Does the GottaGo Eco require toilet chemicals?
No. The Eco Cassette can be used with suitable waste bags or as part of an appropriate composting setup without traditional portable-toilet chemicals. Joolca also offers a separate Chemical Cassette if you prefer that disposal method.
Do I need an RV dump station?
Not when using the Eco Cassette with a suitable waste bag and disposing of the sealed waste through an approved regular-waste system. The optional Chemical Cassette must be emptied through an appropriate chemical-toilet or RV dump point.
How many uses does the Eco Cassette hold?
Joolca rates the 9.4 L Eco Cassette at approximately 23 uses. Actual capacity varies by user and operating method.
How often does the urine container need emptying?
The 4.6 L container provides approximately 12 to 15 uses at the indicated full level. A front level indicator lets you see when it needs to be emptied.
Does the GottaGo flush?
No. It uses a non-flush design. The supplied spray bottle can be filled with an appropriate cleaning solution and used to rinse the bowl between uses.
Does it smell?
Separating liquid and solid waste helps greatly reduce the conditions that create strong odours. The solids chamber also closes with an airtight seal between uses.
Can I use ordinary garbage bags?
The Eco Cassette can be lined with suitable waste bags, but Joolca's GottaGo Heavy-Duty Waste Bags are specifically sized for the cassette and are available separately from Cap-it.
