Built entirely from aluminum and weighing only approximately 11.5 lb, the carrier is designed around common 5-gallon jerry cans while also accommodating several RotopaX configurations and accessory mounts.
Mount it to a rear swing-out, truck camper or other suitable flat surface, then configure the carrier around the fuel, water and equipment your trip requires.

Backwoods assembles the carrier using Huck bolts rather than relying on conventional removable fasteners throughout the enclosure.
The result is a rigid aluminum structure designed to handle the vibration and movement that come with carrying heavy fuel and water containers on rough roads.
A textured black powder-coated finish is included for additional protection and a clean finished appearance.

Slotted side panels allow compatible accessories to be mounted directly to the carrier, turning otherwise unused exterior surface area into additional gear storage.
Backwoods lists compatibility with several common accessory-mount systems for items such as shovels, axes and propane tanks.
Bottom-side slots can also be used with compatible ratchet straps or bungee cords to further secure containers when required.

Common applications include rear bumper swing-outs, truck campers, trailers and other overland storage systems with sufficient structural support.
