ICECO VL Series
ICECO VL45 Single Zone Fridge Freezer – 45L (47.5QT)
Classic Metal Construction. Proven SECOP Cooling. Built for the Road.
The ICECO VL45 is the original workhorse of the ICECO VL lineup, combining rugged metal construction, dependable compressor cooling and a practical 45-litre capacity that fits comfortably into trucks, SUVs, trailers and overland builds.
Powered by a premium SECOP compressor, the VL45 cools from -18°C to 10°C (0°F to 50°F). Its single, uninterrupted compartment can be used as either a refrigerator or freezer, giving you maximum usable storage without dividing the interior between separate zones.

Built for Real Travel
One large 45-litre compartment can be operated as either a refrigerator or freezer. There is no divider taking away valuable storage space, making it easier to pack larger food containers, bottles and trip supplies.
Proven compressor technology delivers dependable mobile cooling with a temperature range of -18°C to 10°C (0°F to 50°F).
The traditional VL-Series metal body provides the solid, durable construction serious travellers expect for use in trucks, trailers, campsites and demanding outdoor environments.
Select MAX mode when faster cool-down performance is the priority, or switch to ECO mode to reduce compressor speed and conserve power.
Adjustable Low, Medium and High voltage protection settings help prevent the fridge from draining your vehicle battery beyond the selected cut-off level.
Pre-cool the VL45 from a household outlet, then keep it running from your vehicle, trailer or portable power source using 12V or 24V DC.
Heavy-duty stainless steel ring-pull handles automatically return against the body when released, keeping the exterior tidy while providing a secure grip for moving the fridge.
Tight-lock lid latches support an effective seal, while reinforced corner protection strengthens the body against shaking and movement during transport.
Is the VL45 Right for You?
You want a proven, simple 45-litre single-zone fridge with SECOP cooling, rugged metal construction and a lower price point than the newer Pro models.
Choose the VL45ProS if easier access and the multi-directional lid matter more. Choose the VL45ProD if you need refrigerated and frozen food at the same time.
The Sweet Spot for Weekend Travel
The VL45 sits in one of the most useful portable-fridge size categories. It offers enough capacity for meaningful food and drink storage without becoming excessively large, heavy or difficult to place.
It is a strong choice for couples, weekend campers, truck owners, SUV travellers and compact overland builds that need dependable cooling without surrendering the entire cargo area.
Build Your Off-Grid Cooling System
Start with the VL45, then add portable battery power, solar charging and a fitted protective cover to create a more complete travel-ready refrigeration system.
Add self-contained battery power for stops, camp use and situations where you do not want the fridge drawing directly from your vehicle.

The Cap-it Take
The VL45 is a proven, no-nonsense travel fridge. It does not chase every premium feature found in ICECO’s newer Pro Series. Instead, it delivers the fundamentals that made ICECO popular in the first place: a rugged metal cabinet, a dependable SECOP compressor, practical capacity and simple operation.
For customers who want serious portable refrigeration without paying for dual zones or additional electronics, the VL45 remains one of the strongest-value choices in the ICECO lineup.
