Add an opening side window to an original Alu-Cab Canopy Camper. Developed as a retrofit solution for Canopy Campers built without factory side windows, this kit adds natural light, ventilation and an outside view without changing the fundamental design of your camper.
WHY WE CREATED IT
The Original Canopy Camper Needed a Window.
Before factory window options became available in newer Alu-Cab camper systems, original Canopy Camper owners had no opening side window option. Cap-it went looking for a solution.
The result is this retrofit kit, built around a Lewmar marine-grade opening portlight and adapted specifically for installation into the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper. It gives existing campers something they were missing: daylight, airflow and visibility from inside the camper.
Natural Light
Bring daylight into the enclosed lower camper area and make the interior feel considerably more open.
Fresh Air
Open the window for additional ventilation while camping, relaxing inside or travelling with pets.
Built for the Outdoors
The window itself is a Lewmar marine portlight, designed for demanding outdoor environments where weather resistance matters.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Canopy Camper Window Retrofit Kit
The camper panel must be cut to install the window. Proper sealing is critical to maintaining a weather-resistant installation. Butyl tape or an appropriate foam gasket/seal is required and is not included with the kit.
