Fast Shelter for Cold Days, Long Camps and Ice Season.
The Wild Land Star Hub is a large insulated pop-up shelter built around a strong hub mechanism, thermal fabric and a roomy pentagonal footprint. It is equally useful as an ice-fishing shelter, cold-weather base camp, gear room or gathering space.
Save $200 through October 31, 2026
During Wild Land Octoberfest, save $200 on the Star Hub Tent. Add the optional Star Hub Fly for extra exterior weather protection and the Star Hub Floor for a cleaner, more complete shelter setup.
Big Shelter. Small Setup Time.
The Star Hub uses Wild Land's hub-style frame system to create a large enclosed shelter without the long pole-by-pole assembly of a conventional tent.
Pull the hub sections into position and the shelter takes shape quickly, making it particularly useful when the temperature is dropping, the wind is moving or daylight is disappearing.
- Fast hub-style setup
- Large pentagonal interior
- Room for approximately four anglers
- Fibreglass pole structure with 11 mm poles
- Thermal insulated wall construction
- Compact carry format for a shelter of this size

Made for the Season Most Tents Avoid.
The insulated 450D wall fabric uses a thermal construction with polyfill insulation to help retain warmth and reduce the exposed, drafty feeling common to lightweight shelters.
That makes the Star Hub a strong choice for ice fishing, shoulder-season camping and any trip where a warm, enclosed base camp changes the experience.

Space for People, Gear and Long Days Outside.
With an approximate footprint of 277 x 291 cm and an approximate height of 207 cm, the Star Hub gives you enough usable room to sit, organize equipment and move around without feeling boxed in.
For ice fishing, that means room for approximately four anglers and their gear. At camp, it can function as a weather-protected social space, gear room or enclosed base camp.
Optional Star Hub Accessories
The shelter works on its own, but the optional Fly and Floor turn it into a more complete all-weather system.

Star Hub FAQ
How many people fit inside the Star Hub?
Wild Land positions the Star Hub for approximately four anglers. Actual usable capacity depends on chairs, fishing equipment and how the shelter is arranged.
Is the Star Hub insulated?
Yes. The wall uses 450D thermal fabric with a polyfill insulation layer to help retain warmth and improve cold-weather comfort.
Does the Star Hub include a floor?
No. The dedicated Star Hub Floor is an optional accessory sold separately.
What does the optional Star Hub Fly do?
The Fly adds an exterior waterproof cover for additional protection from rain, snow and changing weather.
How large is it when packed?
Approximately 32 x 32 x 159 cm (13 x 13 x 63 in).
How much does it weigh?
Approximately 20 kg (44 lb).
Is it only for ice fishing?
No. It also works well as a cold-weather camp shelter, enclosed gear room, social space or shoulder-season base camp.
Can I use a heater inside?
Only use heating equipment specifically approved for the intended environment, maintain proper ventilation and follow all manufacturer instructions. Carbon-monoxide and fire safety are critical in any enclosed shelter.
The Star Hub Makes More Sense the Colder It Gets.
This is not a lightweight summer gazebo pretending to be a winter shelter. The appeal is the combination of insulated fabric, useful standing room and fast hub-style deployment.
For ice fishing or shoulder-season camping, adding the Fly and Floor creates a genuinely useful enclosed camp space that can stay in service long after most fair-weather gear has been packed away.
