Pop-up hub construction
The hub-style frame uses 11 mm fibreglass poles. It avoids assembling a conventional shelter pole by pole, making repeated setup and pack-down more straightforward.
At approximately 20 kg, this is a substantial vehicle-carried shelter rather than lightweight backpacking equipment.
Room to gather or fish
The approximately 277 x 291 cm footprint and 207 cm height provide room for an ice-fishing layout, camp seating or protected gear space. Capacity of up to four anglers depends on equipment and how the interior is arranged.
Thermal shelter fabric
450D thermal fabric with black PU coating and 90 g/m² polyfill insulation adds a thermal barrier for cold-weather use. The published wall water-resistance rating is WR PU400 mm.
For ice fishing, shoulder-season trips or basecamp, match your equipment to the conditions. Insulation does not guarantee a particular interior temperature.
The optional exterior Fly provides another weather-protection layer. Correct setup, ventilation and care still matter.

Star Hub Floor
A dedicated waterproof groundsheet that helps keep the interior separate from wet ground, mud, snow and campsite debris. The optional floor material is PE 120 g/m².

How many people does it accommodate?
The published capacity is up to four anglers. Actual usable space depends on seating, equipment and layout, rather than a guaranteed sleeping capacity.
Is the shelter insulated?
Yes. It uses thermal 450D fabric and 90 g/m² polyfill insulation. Interior temperature still depends on conditions, ventilation and equipment.
Does it include a floor?
No. The matching Star Hub Floor is sold separately.
Does it include the exterior fly?
No. The Star Hub Fly is a separate optional weather cover.
How large is it when packed?
Approximately 32 x 32 x 159 cm. Check the length of your cargo space before ordering.
How much does it weigh?
Approximately 20 kg (44 lb).
Is Star Hub only for ice fishing?
No. It also works as an enclosed camp, gathering or gear space. Choose the setup and optional accessories for your conditions.
Can I use a heater inside?
Do not assume a heater is safe simply because the shelter is insulated. Use only equipment specifically approved for the environment, and follow the shelter and heater manufacturers' ventilation, installation and clearance requirements. Carbon monoxide and fire risks must be addressed.
