Canadian conditions
Sealed, Installed and Water-Tested
The CMX canopy carries an IP65 water-resistance rating and is designed to resist rain and water spray when correctly assembled, sealed and installed.
During a professional Cap-it installation, the canopy panel joints and connection between the canopy and truck-bed rails are sealed before the completed installation is water-tested.
A conventional pickup bed and tailgate should not be considered completely waterproof or dustproof.

The CMX is a modular canopy that requires assembly before installation. Professional assembly and installation through Cap-it are recommended to ensure correct fitment, sealing, wiring, alignment and long-term performance.
A standard Cap-it CMX installation includes:
- Unpacking and responsible disposal of packaging materials
- Complete canopy assembly
- Mounting to the truck bed
- Sealing of canopy panel joints
- Sealing between the canopy and truck-bed rails
- Wiring and connection of the included third brake light
- Water testing before vehicle handover
- Customer walk-around covering operation, care and adjustment
