The Thule Verse takes Thule's proven no-frame-contact platform concept and rebuilds it around easier loading, greater bike compatibility and an expanding ecosystem of purpose-built accessories.
Telescopic single-hook arms secure each bike by the front wheel without touching the frame. Tool-free wheel-tray adjustment helps separate bikes, the outboard release handle provides convenient rear access, and the lockable AutoAttach system makes installing and removing the carrier straightforward.
Choose a 2" receiver version with up to 60 lb per-bike capacity and optional four-bike expansion, or the 1.25" receiver version with up to 55 lb per-bike capacity.

The defining feature of the Verse is Thule's proven single-hook attachment system. Instead of clamping the bicycle frame, a telescopic arm comes down over the front wheel to secure the bike to the carrier.

No Frame Contact
Telescopic single-hook arms secure bikes at the front wheel instead of clamping the frame, providing fast attachment while protecting sensitive and premium bicycle frames.
Up to 5" Tires
Wide wheel trays accommodate tires up to 5 inches, giving the Verse the versatility to carry everything from road and mountain bikes to many fat bikes.
Long-Wheelbase Ready
Accommodates wheelbases up to 1350 mm / approximately 53 inches for compatibility with many modern mountain bikes and longer bicycle geometries.
Tool-Free Bike Adjustment
Side-stack wheel holders provide up to 6 inches of tool-free side-to-side adjustment, helping stagger neighbouring bikes to reduce contact during transport.
Rear Cargo Access
Thule's outboard release handle lets you tilt the carrier down for rear cargo access with or without bikes loaded, then tilt the unloaded rack vertically when parked.
Tool-Free AutoAttach
The lockable AutoAttach system with AcuTight lever allows the Verse to be mounted and removed without conventional installation tools.

2" or 1.25"? There's More Than Hitch Size to Consider.
Both Verse models begin as premium two-bike carriers, but the 2" receiver version offers greater capability.
The 2" Verse 903452 carries bikes weighing up to 60 lb each, with a maximum total load of approximately 121 lb. It is also the only Verse version compatible with the optional 2-bike add-on, allowing the rack to expand from two bikes to four.
The 1.25" Verse 903453 carries bikes weighing up to 55 lb each, with a maximum total load of approximately 110 lb. It cannot accept the Verse 2-bike add-on.
If your vehicle has a compatible 2" receiver, we'd choose the 2" Verse for its additional capacity and future expandability.
2" VERSE | EXPANDABLE TO FOUR BIKES
Two Bikes Today. Four When You Need Them.
One of the strongest reasons to choose the 2" Verse is what you can add later.
The optional Thule Verse 2-Bike Add-On expands the 2" carrier from two bikes to four while retaining the Verse's no-frame-contact attachment system and generous spacing between bike positions.
The add-on is compatible with the 2" Verse only. It is not compatible with the 1.25" receiver model.
OUR E-BIKE ADD-ON
Add the Thule Foldable Loading Ramp.
The Verse can carry heavier bikes, but that doesn't mean you should have to lift them onto the rack.
The optional Thule Foldable Loading Ramp connects directly to the Verse so you can roll a heavier e-bike or mountain bike into position rather than lifting it onto the wheel tray.
At approximately 53 inches long, the ramp also provides a practical loading angle for taller SUVs and trucks. When loading is finished, remove it, fold it and store it in the vehicle.
The ramp is compatible with both the 2" and 1.25" Thule Verse.

Lock the Bikes. Lock the Rack.
The Verse includes a robust 12 mm steel-braided locking cable to help secure the bikes to the carrier, with a fully rubberized sleeve to protect against cable contact.
The AutoAttach system also incorporates a lockable AcuTight lever to help secure the rack to the vehicle.
As with any rack locking system, these features are theft deterrents rather than a guarantee against theft.

MOTORHOME / RV USE
The 2" Verse Has an Additional Capability.
Thule approves the 2" Verse for motorized RV travel, subject to the reduced load capacity and other requirements specified in Thule's fitting instructions.
The 1.25" Verse is not approved for RV travel.
If you're considering the Verse for a motorhome or another specialized application, talk to Cap-it before ordering so the vehicle, receiver, rack and intended load can be evaluated together.
