The original RiG'd RambleSwing is a heavy-duty 2″ swing-out hitch carrier particularly suited to compatible Jeep Wrangler, Ford Bronco and rear-door spare-tire vehicles. Swing a compatible bike rack aside to access your cargo area without removing your bikes.
HOW TO CHOOSE
Check the fit and connection.
Confirm that your vehicle has a compatible 2″ receiver with appropriate hitch insertion, rear-door clearance and space for the rack to swing. The original RambleSwing is not identical to RambleSwing Pro. For a new build, compare its geometry and load rating with the newer RambleSwing Pro before ordering.

- 300 lb maximum combined load rating per original RiG'd specification
- For compatible 2″ hitch-mounted racks; confirm the exact rack's interface and limitations
- Original RambleSwing weight approximately 60 lb (27.2 kg)
- Closed pivot width: 25″ from hitch centre to pivot bolt centre
- 90° and 120° locked-open positions
- FlipFlop swing direction: left or right, based on installation
- Integrated non-slip rear step with Jessup grip tape
- Zinc-rich primer and black semi-gloss powder-coat finish
- A ½″ locking hitch pin is recommended in the original listing
In the box / sold separately: One original RambleSwing swing-out carrier. Bike rack, bicycles, wheel/tire mounts, accessories and a separately selected locking hitch pin are not included.

Can I tow a trailer with the original RambleSwing?
Do not use RambleSwing as a towing extension. It's a swing-out gear carrier. For a spare-tire-first system with a separately rated lower receiver, compare a suitable RiG'd UltraSwing and confirm the towing setup.
