The Planar Portable 4D takes a powerful 4kW diesel air heater and turns it into a complete portable heating system designed for demanding cold-weather use.
The portable system is assembled in British Columbia, bringing the heater, fuel delivery, intake, exhaust, controller and hot-air system together inside a rugged protective package. Add Canadian parts availability, technical knowledge and service support, and the result is equipment designed for long-term ownership.

The Planar 4D delivers approximately 3,400 to 13,600 BTU of dry diesel-fired heat. Its greater output and substantially higher airflow make it the better choice when you're heating a larger interior volume or facing greater heat loss in demanding winter conditions.

Use Your Planar Heater Safely
The heater and combustion exhaust must remain outside the occupied sleeping or living space. Route only the heated-air duct into the shelter or interior space. Always follow Planar operating instructions, maintain required clearances and ventilation, and use a carbon monoxide detector when operating combustion heating equipment around an occupied space.
