TOYOTA TACOMA OWNERS
Factory Bed Tracks Require Extra Attention.
Toyota Tacoma applications with the factory bed-track system do not use the TracOne's conventional bed-rail clamps by themselves. A vehicle-specific mounting adapter is required.

PLANNING TO MOUNT A ROOFTOP TENT?
Confirm the Tent-to-Crossbar Connection Too.
Confirming that the TracOne fits your truck is only the first fitment check. A rooftop tent also has to mount correctly to the TracRac's large aluminium crossbars.
Many compatible Thule rooftop tents require the Thule Xadapt 14 Adapter Kit when installed on Xsporter or TracRac crossbars.
Other rooftop-tent brands may require different brackets, longer bolts or manufacturer-specific adapters. Do not assume that standard rooftop-tent mounting hardware will fit the TracOne crossbars.
Before mounting any rooftop tent, confirm the truck, TracOne rack, tent mounting hardware, required crossbar spacing and all applicable vehicle, rack and tent load ratings.
THULE ROOFTOP TENT ADAPTER
Some Thule Tents Require Xadapt 14.
The Thule Xadapt 14 is designed to connect compatible Thule rooftop tents to Thule Xsporter and TracRac truck-rack crossbars.
If you're purchasing the TracOne specifically to carry a rooftop tent, confirm the requirements for your exact tent before ordering the rack or mounting hardware.
TONNEAU COVER COMPATIBILITY
The TracOne Uses the Bed-Rail Mounting Area.
The TracOne clamps to the truck-bed rails. Tonneau covers and tonneau mounting rails that occupy or interfere with this mounting area are not compatible with the rack in that configuration.
If your truck currently has a tonneau cover, contact Cap-it before ordering. Do not assume the TracOne can be installed alongside existing tonneau mounting hardware.
INSTALLATION & FITMENT

The TracOne is designed for clamp-on installation without cutting or drilling when used on a compatible conventional pickup bed with the correct mounting hardware.
