The ARB Ascent is engineered for rooftop performance when equipped with the correct structural support. To safely carry rooftop tents, racks, or gear, pair the canopy with one of the load-rated roof systems below.

Supplementary Brace Kit (J-Brace), P/N 4140135
For early model 2024 Ford Rangers, Ford omitted the rear tub bracing later added to production vehicles. ARB’s J-Brace Kit provides the required structural support for canopies and rooftop loads.
Important:
✔ Required for early VIN 2024 models without factory tub reinforcement
✔ Not needed if your Ranger includes the factory brace
✔ Simple bolt-on design, no cutting or welding
