WATERPORT PORTABLE WATER SYSTEMS
WaterPORT Overlander 5-Gallon Pressurized Water Tank
Five gallons of pressurized water in a low-profile, trail-ready system.
The WaterPORT Overlander is a rugged, vehicle-mounted water system designed for overlanders, off-roaders and campers who need dependable pressurized water without giving up valuable cargo space.
Its slim five-gallon tank can be mounted horizontally or vertically using the included CNC-machined universal MOLLE mounting system. Fill and pressurize it from a garden hose, use the included Pump Cap, or add pressure through the integrated Schrader valve.
From camp showers and outdoor kitchens to rinsing muddy gear, washing the dog and cleaning up after a day on the trail, the Overlander keeps water ready wherever the journey takes you.
BUILT FOR THE BACKCOUNTRY
More Water. Less Space.
The Overlander carries five gallons of water in a narrow 4.9-inch-deep tank that integrates neatly with bed racks, roof racks, bed rail systems and MOLLE-equipped adventure builds.
It offers more capacity than the DayTank, a longer hose and an included mounting system—making it a complete, ready-to-install solution for serious off-grid travel.
Designed Around the Adventure Vehicle
Three Ways to Pressurize
Self-pressurize the tank while filling from a garden hose, use the included Pump Cap by hand, or add air through the Schrader valve with a bike pump or regulated compressor.
Universal MOLLE Mount Included
The precision-machined mounting system creates a secure, rattle-resistant installation on compatible MOLLE panels, bed racks, roof racks and rail systems.
Horizontal or Vertical Mounting
Install the slim tank in the orientation that works best for your vehicle, available space and preferred access point.
Low-Profile Design
At only 4.9 inches deep, the Overlander keeps five gallons of water close to your vehicle without creating unnecessary bulk.
16-Foot Extended-Reach Hose
Reach around larger trucks, trailers and campsites without continually repositioning the tank or vehicle.
Five-Pattern Spray Nozzle
Switch from a gentle shower pattern to a focused jet for rinsing people, dishes, pets, bikes, boots and dirty equipment.
Quick-Disconnect Fittings
Connect or remove the hose quickly using durable quick-disconnect fittings and all-brass valves.
Food-Grade Water Storage
The BPA-free, food-grade polyethylene tank is designed to safely store potable water when properly cleaned and maintained.
No Electrical Power Required
Enjoy pressurized water without installing a 12-volt pump, running electrical wiring or relying on batteries.
WATER WHERE THE ROAD ENDS
Built for More Than Just Rinsing Gear
Clean up after long days on the trail.
Wash hands, dishes and cookware.
Rinse mud, sand and trail debris away.
Clean gear before loading it home.
Wash muddy paws, feet and messy kids.
Keep a useful supply ready on the vehicle.
How the WaterPORT Overlander Works
Mount
Secure the Overlander horizontally or vertically using the included universal MOLLE mounting system.
Fill
Add up to five gallons of clean water using a garden hose or the tank's large fill opening.
Pressurize
Use the garden hose, included Pump Cap or integrated Schrader valve to build pressure.
Spray
Connect the 16-foot hose, select a nozzle pattern and enjoy pressurized water wherever you stop.
PRESSURE WITHOUT LIMITS
Three Ways to Keep the Water Flowing
Garden Hose
Fill and self-pressurize the tank before leaving home.
Included Pump Cap
Add pressure manually at camp without carrying a separate pump or compressor.
Schrader Valve
Use a standard bike pump or regulated portable air compressor while travelling.
One Tank. Multiple Mounting Positions.
The included universal MOLLE mounting system allows the Overlander to integrate with a wide range of overland racks, MOLLE panels and vehicle storage systems.
Ideal for roof racks, bed rails and long side panels.
Useful on bed racks and upright MOLLE panels.
Remove or transfer the tank when water is needed away from the vehicle.
The included universal MOLLE bracket is designed for adaptable mounting, but every vehicle, rack and panel configuration is different. Confirm the available space, mounting-hole pattern and loaded weight capacity before installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Overlander require electricity?
No. It can be pressurized from a garden hose, with the included Pump Cap or through its Schrader valve. No batteries, wiring or electric water pump are required.
Is the mounting bracket included?
Yes. The Overlander includes a CNC-machined universal MOLLE mounting bracket that allows horizontal or vertical installation on compatible racks and panels.
Will it fit every MOLLE panel?
The bracket is designed for broad compatibility, but MOLLE panels, racks and mounting-hole patterns can vary. Confirm dimensions, available mounting points and loaded weight capacity before installation.
How does the tank pressurize?
The Overlander self-pressurizes when filled through a garden hose. You can also pressurize it manually with the included Pump Cap or add air through the Schrader valve.
How long will it hold pressure?
WaterPORT states that the tank may hold pressure for up to 90 days under normal conditions. Temperature, elevation, storage conditions and frequency of use can affect pressure retention.
Can the Overlander carry drinking water?
Yes. It is made from food-grade, BPA-free polyethylene and is suitable for potable water when properly cleaned and maintained.
How long will five gallons last for a shower?
That depends on the nozzle setting and how efficiently the water is used. Short rinsing showers may last several minutes, while turning the water off between rinsing and washing will extend the available shower time.
Can I put liquids other than water in the tank?
WaterPORT permits certain non-boiling liquids, including sports drinks and mild soapy solutions. Do not use boiling liquids, alcohol, fuel or harsh chemicals. Thoroughly clean the tank after storing anything other than water.
How much does the Overlander weigh when full?
The filled tank weighs approximately 54.7 lb. Your rack, MOLLE panel and mounting surface must be rated to support the complete loaded weight during off-road travel.
Can I leave it mounted during winter?
Drain the tank, hose and fittings completely before freezing conditions. Water left inside may freeze, expand and damage the system.

THE CAP-IT TAKE
The WaterPORT Built for a Proper Overland Setup
The Overlander feels like the most complete vehicle-mounted system in the WaterPORT lineup.
Five gallons is enough capacity to support camp cooking, cleanup, gear rinsing and efficient showers, while the narrow profile keeps it from consuming valuable rack or cargo space.
The included Pump Cap, longer 16-foot hose and universal MOLLE mounting bracket also mean fewer accessories are required to build a useful system.
For customers building a dedicated truck, SUV or trailer for off-grid travel, this is the WaterPORT we would start with.
