Thule's quick-mount system uses an integrated torque indicator that clicks when the mounting hardware has been properly tightened.
DualSide Opening

SlideLock Security
Separate locking and opening functions automatically secure the lid and indicate when the box has been closed correctly.
AeroSkin Exterior

The shape of the lid creates a natural grip point that makes opening and closing the box easier.
Rear-Hatch Conscious Design
The box is positioned forward on the roof to help preserve rear-hatch access, although actual clearance depends on the vehicle, rack position and selected box size.

The L Sport is especially useful when you want a long, narrow cargo box while preserving roof space for another carrier. The M and L suit many everyday family applications, while XL and XXL step up the volume and ski-length capability for larger vehicles and bigger loads.

BEFORE YOU ORDER
Your Roof Rack and Rear Hatch Both Matter.
A rooftop cargo box needs a compatible crossbar system with the appropriate load capacity, spacing and mounting geometry.
Force 3 fits a wide range of Thule crossbars, including WingBar Evo, AeroBlade, SquareBar Evo and ProBar Evo. Other Thule platforms may require specific adapters.
Rear-hatch clearance changes substantially by box size. As the box gets longer, the distance required from the front crossbar to the rear hatch generally increases.

We'd do the opposite.
Start with the longest gear you actually need to carry, how much cargo volume you need, whether you want room beside the box for another roof accessory and how much rear-hatch clearance your vehicle provides.
The narrow L Sport can be a smarter choice than a wider box when skis or long gear are the priority and you still want roof space beside it. For general family cargo, the M and L are easier all-round choices. XL and XXL make more sense when the vehicle and load genuinely justify the extra size.
The right Force 3 isn't necessarily the biggest one. It's the one that fits your vehicle and your gear without creating compromises you didn't need.
