The Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Version 2.0 Universal Module Mounting Plate is designed to accept all of the modules designed specifically for the Canopy Camper. The mounting plate requires drilling into the vehicle bed for proper and safe installation. Once the plate is installed the user can easily add or remove Alu-Cab Canopy Modules as needed. With integrated anchor points throughout the plate. The universal plate is a new version that is just wide enough to install the Alu-Cab modules and does not follow the contours of the bed walls. There are a few advantages to this design, first it saves money, second it saves weight and third it saves space in the utility modules.
The new series of modules for the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper are lighter and more efficient than previous models. By utilizing the Alu-Cab extrusion channels we have been able to eliminate the need for back leg supports for the Utility Modules. This change saves weight, money and shipping costs.
By tying the modules to the Canopy Camper, the installer is able to get a consistent flat surface between the Utility Modules and Drawer Modules. The installation process requires the user to install spacers onto the supplied brackets for proper leveling.

Passenger Front (Utility Module with Alu-Cab water tank or without the water tank)
Passenger Rear (Utility Module or Double Drawer Module)

The benefit of this design is that you have a convenient place to store your essential cooking gear right next to the rear door. If you have added the GP Factor drop down tables to your rear door, your cooking gear is located within arms reach of the cook.
