An enclosed Alu-Cab camper already gives you a protected living and sleeping space when the temperature drops. A properly installed fireplace changes how that space feels and how long you can comfortably stay out.
You get steady propane heat, a visible flame through the ceramic glass window and a warm interior without relying on a portable heater inside the occupied camper space.

Real Propane Fireplace
The Dickinson Newport P9000 uses a ceramic glass viewing window and safety screen to give you the comfort and ambience of a real flame in a compact installation.
Direct-Vent Combustion
Combustion air is drawn from outside and exhaust is routed outside through the double-wall vent system, keeping the combustion process separated from the occupied interior.
Variable Heat Output
Approximate output is 3,200 BTU on low and 4,500 BTU on high, allowing you to adjust heat output for changing winter conditions.
Built-In 12V Blower
An integrated blower helps move warm air through the camper interior rather than relying only on radiant heat from the fireplace body.
304 Stainless Construction
Compact stainless construction is well suited to harsh outdoor environments while keeping the fireplace footprint manageable inside the camper.
Cap-it Custom Mounting
Our mounting components adapt the P9000 to select Alu-Cab camper applications, creating a cleaner and more secure installation than trying to fabricate the system from scratch.

SPECIALIZED INSTALLATION REQUIRED
This Is Not a Bolt-In Accessory
Installation requires camper modification, correct fireplace and chimney clearances, a properly designed low-pressure propane supply and leak testing.
- Propane connections must be completed and verified by a qualified gas fitter or qualified RV service facility
- Fitment must be confirmed for the specific Alu-Cab camper configuration before installation
- Dickinson specifies an 11" WC low-pressure propane supply
- Never connect the fireplace directly to an unregulated propane source
- Applicable local codes and regulations must be followed
Dickinson identifies the P9000 as ABYC-approved for marine use. Cap-it's custom Alu-Cab mounting components adapt the fireplace physically to select camper applications; they do not alter the appliance's original certification.
