The Ascent's Vanishing Edge design follows the Tacoma's bed rails instead of sitting above them like an afterthought.

OEM Key-Fob Central Locking
The canopy locks and unlocks with the Tacoma's factory remote. If the truck is unlocked but no vehicle doors are opened, the Ascent can automatically re-lock with the vehicle.

Electronic unlatching eliminates conventional external handles and provides simple one-handed access through the rear door and lift-up side windows.
5 mm Frameless Safety Glass
Dark-grey tinted safety glass with approximately 28% visible light transmission adds privacy, UV protection and the premium frameless appearance that defines the Ascent.

Large side openings are supported by gas struts for easy access to coolers, tools, drawers and camping equipment throughout the truck bed.

No Separate Canopy Key Routine
One of the best features of the Ascent is also one of the simplest to appreciate.
Lock the Tacoma with the factory key fob and the canopy locks with it. Unlock the truck and the electronic latches are ready for push-button access.
If the remote is lost or the vehicle battery goes flat, ARB provides a manual rear-door key override. Inside the canopy, a yellow anti-entrapment dial allows the rear door to be unlocked from within.
It is the kind of everyday integration that makes the canopy feel like part of the truck rather than another accessory you have to manage.

ARB offers the Ascent in factory colour-coded finishes designed to match Toyota paint colours.
Select factory colours may be available from Canadian inventory, while additional colours can be sourced by special order depending on ARB production and availability.
As with any separately painted vehicle accessory, slight colour variation can occur because the canopy and truck are painted at different times, on different materials and under different production conditions.
For special orders, Cap-it will confirm the Tacoma's paint code before the canopy is ordered.
The paint code is located on the vehicle information label in the driver's-side door jamb. If you select a special-order colour, a Cap-it team member will confirm the exact paint code and estimated lead time before the order proceeds.
