THE NEXT LEVEL OF LUXURY TOURING

Automation Changes the Rooftop Tent Experience

Traditional rooftop tents ask you to unlatch, lift, unfold, tuck fabric and repeat the process when it is time to leave.

The Altitude changes that workflow. Two ARB electronic actuators operate the opening and closing sequence, while the SmartFold hinge system helps guide the canvas into the shell during pack-down.

The result is a premium rooftop tent that feels less like camp setup and more like arriving at your room for the night.

Why the ARB Altitude Stands Apart

Fully Automated Operation

Two ARB electronic actuators raise and close the tent through a proven scissor mechanism, reducing manual setup and pack-down.

SmartFold Hinge Technology

ARB's patented hinge design helps guide the heavy-duty canvas walls inward as the tent closes for cleaner and easier pack-down.

Integrated Ladder Storage

The sliding aluminium ladder stores in a dedicated guided compartment built into the top of the tent, keeping it secure and protected during travel.

Accessory-Ready Roof Rails

Integrated T-slot roof rails support compatible accessories while maintaining powered operation with up to 44 lb mounted on the roof.

Premium Fiberglass Shell

A natural-grey gel-coat fiberglass shell gives the Altitude a clean, integrated appearance while mounting to a lightweight aluminium frame.

Dual-Colour LED Lighting

White and amber lighting illuminates the interior, ladder area and campsite, helping you choose between brighter task lighting and a softer camp environment.

BUILT FOR THE NIGHT, NOT JUST THE DRIVE

A Proper Sleeping Space Above the Vehicle

The Altitude provides a generous interior sleeping area with a 53.9 × 73.6 in sleeping platform, 46.5 in of internal headroom and a 2.7 in dual-density foam mattress.

Heavy-duty 380 GSM poly-cotton canvas creates the enclosure, while the 4-season design is intended for extended touring in changing conditions.

The sleeping capacity is two people, making the Altitude especially well suited to couples and solo travellers who want more comfort from a rooftop tent.

Power and Lighting Built Into the Tent

12V Powered Operation

The Altitude can be hardwired to the vehicle or connected using a compatible 12V Anderson connection, sold separately.

Interior Lighting

Integrated LED lighting provides useful illumination inside the tent after dark.

Ladder & Camp Lighting

Additional lighting around the ladder and campsite improves visibility when entering, exiting or moving around camp at night.

DON'T GIVE UP THE ROOF

Carry Gear Above the Tent

Integrated roof rails with T-slots allow compatible accessories to be mounted directly to the Altitude's upper shell.

ARB rates the powered opening and closing system to continue operating with up to 44 lb of load mounted on the roof.

That creates useful flexibility for lighter cargo or accessory mounting without sacrificing the tent's automatic operation.

Vehicle & Rack Compatibility

The Altitude uses universal folded mounting brackets that support installation on compatible ARB BASE Rack systems or suitable generic crossbars.

Confirm roof capacity before installation.

The tent weighs approximately 233.7 lb before occupants or additional roof-mounted accessories are considered. Vehicle roof capacity, rack capacity, crossbar capacity and mounting-system limits must all be verified before installation. The lowest-rated component determines the safe system capacity.
